Maximizing Resources

The Faith Based and Community Based Initiatives at ACF are designed to help remove barriers to the full participation of faith-based and other community services in the delivery of social services. This initiative offers information, grants and support to the Faith Based and Community Based communities to help them apply for and receive federal funding.

The initiative was created in 2002 to help broaden the base for organizations receiving federal funding and to improve access to services. For more information about this initiative, please visit the National Resource Center for the Compassion Capitol Fund web site.
