Maximizing Resources

The reauthorized Community Based Grants for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect by the Keeping Children and Families Safe Act of 2003 places strong emphasis on program accountability and evaluation. Evaluation is a broad term and applies to a continuum of activities that examine how resources are used, how services are delivered and the overall effectiveness of services towards achieving the long-term goal of prevention of child abuse and neglect.

FRIENDS provides training and technical assistance in a variety of topics that make-up the continuum of evaluation activities for family support/prevention programs. Those topics include:
