What is the Efficiency Measures and Evidence Based Practices Subcommittee?
This subcommittee is charged proposing an efficiency measure for CBCAP that can be approved by OMB. The subcommittee’s immediate task is to refine the existing recommendation with respect to “increasing the availability of appropriate evidence-based programs and practices” in CBCAP and incorporate a cost-efficiency measure. The group is tasked with proposing other recommendations for efficiency measures if the ones proposed to ACF/HHS/OMB are subsequently denied. The subcommittee will make recommendations about the most feasible and appropriate process for collecting this information for CBCAP grantees, and setting the baseline and annual targets.
